Abstract
Johannes Stengel is a research assistant at the Faculty of Education as part of the project KliNaTrEm (Climate Change as a Transdisciplinary Field of Action - Sustainability and Empowerment in Teaching and Transfer) funded by the BMUV (Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety) (duration June 2023 - May 2025).
In the research project, he is mainly involved in the development of a key competence-oriented teaching and research concept, as well as in the supervision of student groups in the context of service-learning projects aiming at local relevance and measures for climate change adaptation.
He completed his B.A.Sociology/ Educational Science at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena in 2016 and his M.A.InternationalDevelopmentStudies (IDS) in 2019 at the University of Marburg. In addition to working in the field of education for sustainable development (ESD), he completed a certificate study in organisation consulting at the FSU Jena in 2022.
