Abstract
Christoph Bülau has been a research assistant at the University of Leipzig since 2014, since 2016 at the Chair of School Pedagogy with a special focus on school development research, and since 2021 also a teacher for special tasks. The module 05-BWI-07 "School as a learning and living space" is the focus of his teaching activities.
A special focus of his work is on science communication within the framework of a researcher-practitioner dialogue, on the topics of school development research and theories, school counseling, all-day schooling and innovation of teaching and learning processes.
In addition, the is co-responsible for the conception and acceptance of examinations.

The seminars in Module 05-BWI-07 introduce the pedagogical design of the learning and living space of school.
The concrete contents include:
Conceptions of school as a living and social space, methods of lifeworld and social space analysis, theories and methods of school and classroom development, theoretical approaches to the interaction of school and out-of-school educational processes as well as forms of cooperation with out-of-school partners, design of all-day programs, research findings on the significance of heterogeneity (social class-specific, Research findings on the significance of heterogeneity (social class-specific, gender-specific, ethnic-cultural, linguistic differences as well as giftedness and disabilities as special learning prerequisites) for the design of schools and lessons, pedagogical concepts for dealing with heterogeneity (differentiation, integration and inclusion), explanatory approaches for educational problems and possibilities for prevention and intervention.
