Abstract
Julika Sasaki (they/them) is Lecturer in Primary Didactics of the Social Sciences at the University of Leipzig. After studying to become a primary school teacher (Grundschullehramt) and gaining many years of experience in out-of-school educational work, they started their doctoral thesis on the intersectional analysis of gender and race discourses in primary school textbooks. The focus on power-critical and discrimination-sensitive approaches in the context of teaching is also reflected in their current teaching activities.
